It is near impossible to set standard prices as I offer different services and to very different people. If, for example, I charge £10 a page to proofread, that is all fair and well for a student who wants their essay read through, to correct any errors, but if I charged the same price for somebody that had written a 400-page novel, it would cost thousands. I prefer to work within people's budgets. If a client wants me to read through their work, whatever work it is, I will charge a flat rate of £10 a page, but if they require other services, such as suggestions to help with the flow, structure and so on; critical commentary that addresses areas of concern and potential issues; tracked revisions so that you can see and review all the changes that have been made, leave me your details, let me know what services you require and what budget you have and we will take it from there. I am not an editor because I enjoy taking people's money, I am an editor because I enjoy it and want people to learn from my powerhouse, advice and knowledge. It gives me an enormous amount of satidsfaction.
